Say What?: College

Needless to say, college life is so darn FUN. Talk about cutting classes and loooong breaks. Though I figured this is only the beginning, I might as well enjoy the pleasures of becoming a newbie at the Ateneo. I am very thankful to have a block mates who never limit themselves. Almost all of us are outgoing and easy to get along with. Yow B-L-O-C-K-D!!!

I was never a shy type during high school so I didn't have a hard time talking to people. The key on having lots of friends is to be talkative... nyahahahaha... Just as long as they find you polite and proper. Not too rude or offensive; try not to be too much of an "adhesive" too. This annoys people. Another cool thing about college is the fact that we get to wear civilian clothes. Though this proved to be a hassle for a girl like me who gets a raised eyebrow from parents who checks every once in a while the clothes I wear to school. And every time they do this I just grit my teeth and hesitantly change my clothes. As if there is something I can do. NO, I don't dress flashy. Well, I sort of did Friday. It earned me a couple of eerie smirks and jeers from people though. Owkay, now my block mates call me "Sexay" because of the short blouse I wore. It wasn't my fault though. It wasn't supposed to be cut short! I was simply too darn big! Well anyway what come may. I can't go home to change so I had to flaunt and strut my instant fashion catastrophe. I'd say, confidence marks a woman. Hey, it helped me with the Math11 diagnostics. Well not exactly but you get my point. Silly me had to cut ES10 and the cheer rally to study for that exam. That gave a boost to my spirits. Sheesh, if I didn't pass the diagnostic exam I swore to cut to shreds my textbook. I'm class beadle for crying out loud. It surely would be a disappointment to my ego if I get hitched to Math1. Well thankfully I did pass. I think I faired not so well though. There were those who finished early. Like super EARLY. Super idol mehn! They remind me of Leah, my high school classmate. She's so darn good Mrs. Sierra could even close her eyes while checking her paper because there wouldn't be anything wrong for sure. Hehehe... I wish I was that smart. Justin would be so deym proud. ^_^ He's currently watching Transformers at Podium with Ate Jade. Lucky him. Grrrr...

Oh well...

My honey Justin got me a new phone for my birthday. Haha... Its the phone I've been wanting to have for the longest time ever since I laid my eyes on it (Yow Raissa!!! hihi). Its a hot pink Motorola Razr V3x, my dream phone dahhhrling ^_^. Here are some of the pictures I took with it...

Me and Justin. Notice the new do? Loves it.

Weh!!!

Kewl effects.

VTRs

You know its not you who pick the commercial but the commercial picks you. I don't know if you get me but I'm sure some of you would. VTRs are like the auditions/screen tests for a TV or print commercial. They make you say your name, age, height, past commercials done, etcetera. Well basically they see if you are fit in the commercial or not. Well, for the past few weeks I've gone to several of them with the hope of bagging a spot in one of the commercials. Wish me luck. I have one tomorrow for a coffee commercial. ^_^ Whaaaa... Sometimes its nerve wracking especially when you get to do a bit acting. If you didn't ace it you get to repeat it all over again. Frustrating isn't it? Notwithstanding the fact that some of those who take the videos throw nasty remarks at you if you don't do well. I had once this girl who clearly despised me. Grrrr... I hope I don't come across her again.

Summer Teen Fair

♥Me and my boyfriend Justin before the Fashion Show.♥

So I'll just skip the drama before the rest. So here it goes...

Despite my pleas that no one should watch me except a couple of friends, mom insisted that they'll watch the fashion show. What can I actually do? Of course they had shattered my hopes of a peaceful event, hence projecting a stage "mother effect." I crumbled. We left Lambak (I'm currently staying there.) at around 12:23 pm with the hopes of traffic in my head. And just like how I expected, we arrived at Glorietta around 1:28. Believe it or not I grew hungry. Wow. So I guess having a parent wasn't bad after all since I don't need to worry 'bout food. We dined-in at Oody's which is a Thai restaurant. I ate this delish chicken fillet with yellow rice. I don't really know what happened but I finished the whole of the meal! Talk about a diet going down the drain. After the eating sesh I left them and headed for the fair...

Then we were briefed about the scheduled program and the fashion show. I was to wear this silver dress by Iora (We had a fitting last April 20th.) and Chuck Taylor's which we had to put masking tapes on the soles for it not to get dirty :D. Yep, we had to return the clothes and the shoes. Well, except those girls who wore Tomato because they get to keep the clothes they wore. Sheesh. Well anyway we got GCs naman.

Backstage-- was total chaos. Everyone was rushing since the fashion show was about to start. I didn't know what to do either. The hardest part was the fact that the dressing area had no light source. So we had to light our little spots up with our cellphones. Notwithstanding the utter heat that caused us to sweat. Yikes. So I was like "Who's got tissue?". I was the 4th girl for Iora and the 12th one for Globe (Globe has this shirt thingy.) The lights caused my runway shots to blur so all I have for souvenir of the fashion show was pictures of my yellowish blurry self--and of course some Clearasil packs and a couple of Strepsils. Of course the day wouldn't be complete with the people who supported me and watched... heheh... Shoutouts to Justin Depano, Marick Dacanay, Janine Depano, Ronald Quintans and Paul Talavera. Thanks thanks. And Ana for telling me about this event.

Thats me. Told you its blurry.

Turn, Ysh. Turn.

The shirt says: Where does Sandara Park? Cute. Its the Studio 23's mascot for the event.

At Bench Fix Salon for my hair and Makeup for the Fashion Show.

For more of the pictures check out this multiply album. Add me up first to view the album. :D

Overall the day had been fun. It was an experience worth reminiscing and remembering. Its my first time on catwalk and a promise to myself, it won't be my last. =)

Hating Things

It would all seem to be confusing when people try to contradict you. I just want to apologize to the year book committee if I wasn't able to attend the meeting due to my parents. They seem to distrust me. Notwithstanding the fact that they treat me as a gradeschooler. Of course I cried. And up to now I'm trying to hold back my tears. I hate them. What more is the big Baguio event this coming end of April. Its gonna be a 2-day soccer event that I really would want to participate in. I doubt they'll allow me even if it means a lot to me. Crikey. I love soccer.

Come to think of it, why would you respect someone if they don't respect you back? I know only some people would understand me, Justin included. I'm really thankful for that. I mean he still remains there with me even if I'm on the lowest points of my life. He understands me perfectly because he knows how my life is. He knows me better than anybody.

Well anyway so much for that. I have a modeling gig this coming Saturday. You guys have to come! Its gonna be this April 21 at Glorietta 4 park, 10am-9pm. Theres gonna be a 3-on-3 basketball, bands, HS cheerleading competition, fashion show and lots more. See yah'. Wish me luck.

tough tough tough

Ughhh. So now I'm stuck here. Crikey I wasn't allowed to train. Now I miss soccer more. Well anyway now my hopes are turned for tomorrow's AFC training. My boyfriend Justin's coming to watch me so I really am looking forward to it. Then after which its Starbucks again. He insisted he'd treat me, though I don't know why I keep on arguing about that "treating" issue. Of course its normal to have the boy pay right? But unlike me I want to be the one to pay every once in a while. But seriously, I cannot resist his pleads. He is too cute ^_^ haha... *ehem ehem*.

Ahw. I so love him.
Haha. So kulit Pappi.

We've been together for 7 months and 2 days now and I've never been this happy. He's just too good to be true. Love you babe.
